And what you think about us....
We visited the restaurant on Saturday 7th July, and despite us being 20 minutes late! were welcomed by your staff. The food was fantastic, and have already recommended the place to several friends. We will definitely be visiting again (we were so full we could not manage desserts, so this will draw us back).
Also- Alex was a great waiter, really friendly and just the right amount of attention. So thank you
I booked the Covent Garden Grill for my husband's birthday and because I was bringing my 20 week old son, I wanted to ensure all of us were looked after. And we were, the service, staff and food were great and I even got a call the evening before the meal to assure me that my son would be welcome. Needless to say we enjoyed our meal and we will be going back.
Very tasty steak. Reasonably priced wine. Good value
Great evening out at Covent Garden Grill
Good food and wine list, friendly and fast service. Could have done with more vegetarian options, but it is a grill restaurant so it was great that they had more than one!
6pm pre-theatre on a Monday, but enough people there to give a bit of a buzz. Starters (tomato soup, chicken cesar) were good, but the revelation was the sirloin: ordered rare/med rare, they were thick, and were incredibly tender - I'd have said fillet in a blind tasting. OK, £4 supplement on the TT £15 deal, but well worth it! Puddings, though not my thing really, were tasty. A £20 rioja followed the freebie cava, both good. Overall, great value for money - we'll be back!
Good food and a good selection to choose from. Would definitely recommend.
Good location for theatres and food was good
Covent Garden Bar and Grill was outstanding value for money. Food was delious and Service was freindly with a smile and not snooty at all. Wine was also mid range decent bottle of red for £15. I recommend going here for either a romantic meal or a party of friends. can't believe the value in he heart of the West End. in all came to £25 pp including additional wine, upgrade the steak and water! fabulous
It's a fantastic restaurant. I can't believe I haven't heard about it earlier. The grilled chicken in my salad is real chicken, not any processed meat. it was soft and tender with a real charcoal- grilled flavour.
I booked this retaurant as a good friend of mine was returning from Australia. We wanted somewhere with a nice simple but enjoyable menu, and a nice relaxed ambience where we could have a good catch up. The Covent Garden Grill ticked all those boxes. The menu was as we wanted both simple but very delicous. All five of us had a lovely meal from start to finish. I think this restaurant is a must to visit with a lovely bunch of friends!
I visited Covent Garden Grill recently for a press lunch. Service was excellent and food was super. Booths provided perfect set up for conducting intimate meal/business meeting. I'd definitely recommend!
I went to the Covent Garden Grill with my boyfriend on a Monday night. The food on offer was simple but nice and excellent value. The total bill for 2 came to just over £50 which included a bottle of wine and service charge. The restaurant is nice in design with private booths for a more romantic meal.
Service was polite and professional. Location is spot on for Covent garden. The quality of the food was first rate. Over all a very enjoyable meal.
Nice place for a steak, steak was cooked to perfection, and bernaise sauce was amazing
Food at the Covent Garden Grill was tasty
staff were very helpful, good range of food, lunchtime menu seems very good value.
Covent Garden Grill was functional and pleasant. The staff were polite and attentive. The food was straight forward and uncomplicated and was good value. Well worth a visit.
Was very impressed with the decor and the feel of the place. Service was fab - very accommodating and helpful/friendly. Food was served quickly too - nice new place - would def go back!
Covent Garden Grill - nice location, good ambience, good food.
Nice Ambience, attentive service, nice desserts
Went to Covernt Garden Grill for dinner. Excellent value for money. Had rump steak (medium rare) for main course which was done just right. Chips were also nice and chunky. Panna cotta for dessert also delicious. Portion sizes were more than enough and surprising given offer. Service was excellent. Ambience is good, not too noisy. A very enjoyable experience - would definitely recommend for a quiet dinner.
The service was very quick at the Covent Garden Grill which suited us as we were off to the theatre.
Covent Garden Grill was nice. The food was good, the salmon was especially lovely. Pineapple ice cream is a must
Good evening at Covent Garden Grill. Will go again.
Smart clean Central London restaurant serving good food and wine in a friendly and unhurried manner. The 'Special Offer' represented especially good value, although I would say that generally value for money on the A'la carte menu, and pre theatre offers was also good. I would, and hopefully will, use again.
Our meal at The Covent Garden Grill was pleasant and the food was good. The desserts were fantastic, especially the panna cotta. Would recommend for a pleasant meal out.
Excellent location, beautiful food, great service and an excellent selection of wines at covent garden grill.
We had the 3 courses for £15 plus glass of cava. Excellent value for money. 3/4 starters to choose from, wider selection of starters. I choose the steak which was a fair size piece of meat and friend choose the Salmon which looked and tasted great. To finish we had ice cream which was very tasty. The service was superb, our waiter very attentive and a good wine list to choose from. Definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere in Covent Garden.
Great night out at Covent Garden Grill - terrific - Service brilliant too - catered for all our whims! All in all, terrific night out and heartily recommend it!
All the food was very good, and with the offer very good value. The salmon portions were slightly on the small side, but apart from that all the main courses were substantial. The service was very good, our waitress was very knowledgeable about the food, and various adaptations were delivered perfectly. A great weeknight meal.
Great food although we did have to wait for a whilte- but with the special offer I'd definitely return and the staff were charming!
This was my first visit to the Covent Garden Grill and I could not fault it. The staff were great, attentive, efficient and just plain nice! Food was very good No problems getting the glass of Cava that was included in the deal either! Would highly recommend and will certainly return.
love the booths and would go back again
We went to the Covent Garden Grill and couple of weeks ago after work. The food was such good value for moneyand the service was excellent and friendly we are all going again next week.
Service and ambience was great
Covent Garden Grill is the perfect setting for a romantic meal, a pre-theatre dinner, special treat or just a fab place to have a satisfying, well cooked and well presented meal when in London. A definite must if in the area and one to visit more than once.
I visited Covent Garden Grill on a Monday lunchtime so it was quiet, but the service was excellent and the food very good value
My Wife and I had a great meal at the Covent Garden Grill which has a nice relaxing non formal feel about.
Joanne and her staff were very friendly and professional, our meals off the a la carte menu which were served promptly were very well prepared and very tasty (fillet and sirloin steaks. We will be going back and highly recommend the restaurant.
Food was lovely it was a really good evening. They were also happy to accommodate the extra guest we had with us
My wife and I ate the three course offer at the Covent Garden Grill prior to going to a film. Both the food and the service was very good and represented good value for money
It was lovely that they looked after my nieces so well with a kids menu and arrranging desserts for them.
Real value for money Highly recommended.
It was one of the best restaurants i have been too. Definitely will go again. The food and service was excellent
The staff were really friendly and we got a 2 seat table in a cosy quiet little corner away from everyone else. The restaurant is very simple and modern. We had a great time.
Served by staffs named Martha and Artus. Very friendly and courteous and not rushed. Manager was seen around but the above staff were the ones who were actually providing the service. Food was good. I would recommend friends to this restaurant.
nice and friendly, good service and hot food.
The Covent Garden Grill. Great venue for a pre-theatre lunch. If you stick with the set menu, good value for money too. Good sized portions. Waiting staff friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.
Great little place! Perfect for pre-theatre and very good value for money.
